Around 0145 hours this morning, Bellaire Officers located a suspect breaking into cars and a foot pursuit was initiated. The suspect jumped several fences and eluded officers until he was captured at 0241 hours.

We are asking if your vehicle was broken into last night, please contact the Bellaire Police Department at 713.668.0487. We have recovered multiple electronics and need to locate the owners.

If you live in the 4700 – 5000 blocks of Tamarisk and Wedgewood and locate items that do not belong to you in your backyard, please contact the Bellaire Police to have an officer collect the items.
