BPD is looking to reunite this male black lab/shepherd with his owners! He was found Wednesday, September 18th, at 4:15pm near Evergreen and the 610 feeder just outside the Loop. He is neutered, but not wearing a collar and not chipped. He is currently in the Bellaire Pound. "Blackjack" the black shepherd is now available for adoption! He is going to the vet tomorrow for an initial checkup and shots, so more information will be available soon!
Blackjack went to the vet! He got his first round of shots, is neutered and HW negative. They couldn’t believe he is around 8 years old because he has so much personality and spunk! So much, that he is a healthy 73.6 pounds! He is likely a black lab. This goofball is ready for a new home! He has an appointment (interview) with the SPCA on Monday morning if no one adopts him before then. They couldn’t see him before then, because they said they are so overwhelmed this week with large dogs and don’t have space for more. ☹️ Please give BPD a ring if you’d like to meet him!! 713-668-0487 (dispatch landline)
This adorable pup went to the SPCA last Monday! Please call them at 713-869-7722 if you are interested in adopting him, and mention the black lab mix brought in from the Bellaire Pound (I don't think they keep the quirky names we give them!). 😊
