The City Council of the City of Bellaire, Texas, will meet in Regular Session in the Council Chamber located on the First Floor of City Hall, 7008 South Rice Avenue, Bellaire, Texas 77401.

Following are some items on the agenda:

Adoption of Ordinances:

  • Consideration of and possible action on the adoption of an ordinance of the City Council of the City of Bellaire, Texas, calling a general election within the City of Bellaire, Texas, for the purpose of electing a Mayor and three (3) Council Members for Position Nos. 2, 4, and 6; establishing the date of the general election as the uniform election date designated by the State of Texas as the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November or November 5, 2019; establishing election precincts, polling places, and appointing election officials; and setting forth certain guidelines – Submitted by Tracy L.   • Consideration of and possible action on a request from the Public Works Department for City Council approval to purchase one John Deere backhoe from Doggett Heavy Machinery Services, LLC, for an amount not to exceed $77,700 as funded in the FY 2019 Budget –Submitted by Michael Leech, Director of Public Works
  • Consideration of and possible action on the adoption of an ordinance of the City Council of the City of Bellaire, Texas, granting a Specific Use Permit to Take 5 Properties, SPV, LLC, to allow for the operation of a drive-through automobile service station for oil changes and emissions testing located at 5235 Bellaire Boulevard, as provided for in Section 24-536 B.(2)(d)(2) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Bellaire, Texas – Submitted by ChaVonne Sampson, Director of Development Services.
  • Consideration of and possible action on the adoption of an ordinance of the City Council of the City of Bellaire, Texas, authorizing the City Manager to execute a Master Services Agreement and related documents by and between the City of Bellaire, Texas, andRingCentral, Inc., for the purchase of equipment and services for the replacement of the City’sphone systems, in an amount not to exceed $202,988.47 – Submitted by Patrice Baltuskonis, Director of Information Technology.
