From the Bellaire Police Department:
At approximately 3:03 a.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2025, a Bellaire Police Officer on patrol heard multiple gunshots in the area of Bellaire Boulevard and South Rice Avenue. The officer immediately canvassed the area and located three agitated individuals outside a vehicle at the Chevron parking lot located at 5020 Bellaire Boulevard.
The officer detained the individuals for the investigation. Once secured, the individuals reported that they had been robbed by another group of males in a gray Honda sedan that fled westbound on Bellaire. Multiple shell casings were found in the immediate area. Local assisting agencies located a gray Honda sedan in the parking lot of 5320 Bellaire Boulevard. Two Hispanic males were attending to a third male who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Officers immediately initiated CPR until Bellaire Fire Department personnel arrived and continued life saving measures. The male was pronounced deceased at 3:24 a.m.
The identity of the deceased is pending confirmation, and the circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation. Preliminary information suggests an exchange of gunfire may have occurred between the involved parties.
