The City of Bellaire recognizes Mayra Marshall as the incoming President of PATRONS for Bellaire Parks, a nonprofit organization that partners directly with the City to support Bellaire Parks, Recreation & Facilities through community fundraising, volunteer leadership, and public-private collaboration.

PATRONS for Bellaire Parks plays an important role in enhancing Bellaire’s parks, green spaces, and recreational amenities by supporting projects and programs that serve residents of all ages. Through its partnership with the City, PATRONS helps advance shared goals centered on accessibility, community engagement, and quality of life.
Marshall succeeds outgoing leadership and brings extensive community involvement and volunteer experience to the role. Bellaire resident Mayra Marshall brings leadership experience in learning and design and in the real estate sector, along with deep community involvement, to her role as President. Marshall will serve alongside the PATRONS executive board and volunteers in support of Bellaire Parks & Recreation.

These experiences connect multiple generations, keep our community active, and help create lasting memories that form the foundation of Bellaire’s culture.”

PATRONS for Bellaire Parks supports a wide range of park-related efforts, including playground enhancements, green space improvements, and community programming, through fundraising and volunteer engagement.
