The Bellaire City Council approved the following:
Installation of speed humps on the 5400 block of Braeburn Drive.
Authorization of a contract with Entech Sales & Service, LLC for on-call and regular HVAC maintenance.
Authorization to execute all documentation with Heil of Texas under an Interlocal Purchasing Agreement with the City of Houston for vehicle equipment repairs and related services, with a budget not to exceed $65,000.
Authorization to execute documentation with Core & Main LP for water meter components and repair parts, with a budget not to exceed $220,000.
Acceptance of a $3.1 million grant from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for the Bellaire Waterlines and Water and Wastewater Line Replacement Program.
A budget amendment for the FY 2025 budget to incorporate the $3.1 million EPA grant for the Bellaire Waterlines and Water and Wastewater Line Replacement Project.
An amendment to Chapter 30, Traffic and Vehicles, to establish the speed limit on the I-610 frontage roads as 40 mph, aligning with posted signage.
Reissuing an ordinance related to funding for a Surface Transportation Block Grant for the Traffic Signal Timing Optimization Project, which includes minor text changes requested by the Texas Department of Transportation and adds the City Manager’s designee for project management purposes.
