UPDATE: BHS School Day Hours to Remain the Same After Harvey

An update from Bellaire High School: Bellaire’s Bell schedule will not change for the 2017-2018 school year. Families may have heard through the media that our school day would be lengthened, however that is not accurate. Our bell schedule for this year, as well as the past several years, has included an additional 15 minutes over the minimum number of minutes required by the TEA.  This leads to our ability to “bank” additional minutes each day, and thus we can make up the missed minutes by simply following our current schedule.  Additionally, this allows the HISD to allocate scarce dollars toward the other schools with delayed starts.
