April 2021

4/5/2021 – 49xx MAPLE STREET On 04/05/2021 at 1003 hours, Bellaire PD Dispatch received a call of an attempted auto theft at the above location. Officer Edwards arrived at 1051 hours and met with the victim who stated between an unknown time on 04/03/2021 and 0900 hours on 04/05/2021, unknown person(s) attempted to steal a vehicle parked in the street.

4/5/2021 – 44xx CAMELLIA LANE Service Honor Courage On 04/06/2021 at 1243 hours, Officer Andrade was dispatched to the above location in reference to an auto theft. Upon arrival, Officer Andrade made contact with the victim who stated as he left his vehicle unlocked and idling in the driveway, unknown suspect(s) jumped inside his vehicle and drove away. Officers tracked the vehicle which was recovered with no occupants approximately 9.7 miles outside of the City of Bellaire. There are no suspect(s) in this case at this time. Corporal Baylis, Sergeant Hollie, Lieutenant Cotton, and Detective Macedo assisted in this case.

4/13/2021 – 45xx BIRCH STREET On 04/13/2021 at 0814 hours, Officers Lopez and Deliphose were dispatched to the above listed address in reference to a motor vehicle theft. The theft occurred in the early morning hours of 04/13/2021 between 0245 hours and 0345 hours. The method is unknown how the vehicle was stolen.

4/13/2021 – 6512 SOUTH RICE On 04/13/2021 at 2324hours, Officer Guerra was flagged down at the above location in referenced to an auto theft. Officer Guerra made contact with the victim who advised someone had stolen his vehicle while he went inside to buy cigarettes. The vehicle was involved in an accident in Houston on 04/14/2021 and found abandoned.

4/15/2021 – 5106 BISSONNET STREET On April 15, 2021, at approximately 1403 hours, the victim’s vehicle was taken from the parking lot of 5106 Bissonnet Street (HEB 2nd Floor) by an unknown suspect(s).

4/16/2021 – 1301 N FIRST STREET On 04/16/2021 at 1750 hours, Officer Guerra was dispatched to the above location in referenced to an auto theft. Upon arrival Officer Guerra made contact with the victim who advised someone had stolen his vehicle from the above location.

4/18/2021 – 5555 WEST LOOP SOUTH On 04/18/2021 at 1812 hours, Officer Guerra was dispatched to City of Bellaire Police Department Lobby in referenced to an auto theft. Officer Guerra made contact with the reportee who advised someone had stolen his rental car from the above location.

Motor Vehicle Parts Theft

4/15/2021 – 6565 WEST LOOP SOUTH On 04/15/21 at 1743 hours, Officer Ortega was dispatched to the above location in reference to a theft. The victim advised her catalytic converter to her Toyota Sequoia was stolen by an unknown suspect (s).

4/15/2021 – 6330 WLS On April 15, 2021, at 1814 hours, Officer Bellard and Officer Han were dispatched to a theft call that occurred at the parking garage of the above building. Officers met with the victim who advised an unknown suspect(s) removed/stole the catalytic converter from his truck.

March 2021

3/1/2021 4700 BELLAIRE BLVD – On Monday, March 1, 2021, at 1108 hours, Officer J. Trujillo along with L. Han were notified of a stolen vehicle by the flock camera system. Officers located the vehicle and the driver was arrested without incident.

3/17/2021 5106 BISSONNET STREET – On 03/17/2021 at 1518 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 6300 block of South Rice Street in reference to a stolen vehicle hit through the flock camera system. The vehicle was located and Officers observed the suspects stealing from HEB. Both suspects were taken into custody without incident. Sergeant Hollie and Officer Andrade assisted with the case.

February 2021

2/6/2021 5300 BISSONNET ST – On 02-06-2021 at approximately 1326 hours, Officer O’Sullivan was dispatched 5300 Bissonnet Street in reference to a stolen motor vehicle being driven on the roadway. The investigation concluded with two suspects being arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and the stolen vehicle being returned to the owners.

2/9/2021 6800 WEST LOOP SOUTH – On Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at 1134 hours, Officer M. Andrade was dispatched to the above address in reference to a stolen vehicle. Upon the Officer’s arrival she spoke to the complainant who stated between 0800 hours and 1100 hours an unknown person(s) stole his vehicle from the second floor of the parking garage.

2/24/2021 5400 BELLAIRE BLVD – On 02/24/2021 at 0948 hours, Officers J. Trujillo and L. Han were notified by the flock camera system of a stolen vehicle that was taken in an aggravated robbery. The vehicle was located and began evading officers. The vehicle later crashed, and the driver fled on foot until captured by Officer Han. The driver was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and evading with a motor vehicle

2/24/2021 5100 BELLAIRE BLVD – On 02/24/2021 at 1927 hours, Officers were notified by the flock camera notification system of a stolen vehicle. Officers located the vehicle and the driver was taken into custody for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Three other juvenile passengers were released at the recommendation of the Harris County District Attorney’s Office without charges. Officers Deliphose and Younger were the primary officers in this investigation. Sergeant Kramer, Officer Clisham, Officer Guerra, and West University Police Officers Cirlos and Rios assisted with the felony stop.

2/24/2021 6300 SOUTH RICE AVE – On February 24, 2021, at 1518 hours, Officers were notified by flock camera systems of a stolen vehicle. Officers located the vehicle and the juvenile suspect was taken into custody for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and released to his mother.

2/24/2021 5455 DASHWOOD DRIVE – On 02/24/2021 at 1803 hours, I, Officer Deliphose, and Officer Younger were dispatched to the Bellaire Police Department lobby in reference to a theft of a motor vehicle. The victim rented his car out through an app called Turo. During the course of the investigation, it was determined that the suspect violated a contractual agreement and failed to return a rental vehicle. A certified demand letter was submitted with negative contact.

10/20/2020 – 5000 BELLAIRE BLVD. On 10/20/20 at 1550 hours, Officer Bailey was dispatched to the above address in reference to a stolen vehicle. Upon arrival the victim stated between 10/19/2020 at 2200 hours and 10/20/2020 at 1530 hours an unknown person(s) stole her vehicle from the above location. The vehicle was located by HPD at 1823 hours off Airline Dr.

5/30/2020 – 1xx BEVERLY LANE On May 30, 2020 at 1142 hours, Officer Lysack was dispatched to the above location in reference to an attempted automobile theft. Officer Lysack arrived on scene and met with the victim who stated he inadvertently left his keys in the vehicle and the vehicle unlocked. An unknown suspect attempted to steal the vehicle, but the driveway was blocked by the victim’s other two vehicles. The suspect damaged all three vehicles while attempting to steal the vehicle. Officer Ortega assisted on this case.

April 2020

4/19/2020 43xx DARSEY STREET On April 19, 2020, at 1100 hours, Officer Carson was dispatched to the above location to meet with the victim who is reporting her vehicle being stolen from her driveway. The unknown suspect(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and stole the victim’s vehicle from her driveway.

1/8/2020 – 6500 WEST LOOP SOUTH On 01/08/2020 at 1848 hours, Officer D. Norman was dispatched to an auto theft that occurred at the above listed location. Officer Norman made contact with the victim who advised an unknown person stole his vehicle and left the parking garage in an unknown direction.

1/19/2020 – 5106 BISSONNET STREET On 01/19/2020 at 2204 hours, Officer Schwausch was dispatched to an auto theft that occurred at 5106 Bissonnet Street. Officer Schwausch made contact with the victim who advised an unknown person entered her office, took her keys, then stole her vehicle and left the area in an unknown direction.

11/20/2019 6500 WEST LOOP SOUTH On 11/20/19 at 1424 hours, Officer Trujillo was dispatched to the above location in reference to an auto theft call. Upon his arrival he spoke to the victim who stated on today’s date between 0700 and 1400 hours an unknown person took his vehicle from the parking garage.

11/20/2019 5000 BELLAIRE BLVD WB On 11/20/19 at 1813 hours, Officer Trujillo was dispatched to the above location in reference to a theft of an automobile. Upon arrival he spoke to the victim who stated between 1630 and 1800 hours on 11/20/2019 an unknown person(s) took her vehicle. The vehicle was later located at 5314 Dashwood.

11/30/2019 4500 FOURNACE On 11/30/19 at approximately 0137 hours, Officer Ortega observed a suspicious vehicle leave the area after a burglary alarm call. Upon further investigation the driver of the vehicle was found to be concealing narcotics, operating the vehicle without the owner’s consent and lied about his identity. Officer Ortega placed the suspect into custody for possession of a controlled substance, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and fail to identify fugitive.

11/30/2019 5101 JESSAMINE STREET On 11-29-2019 at approximately 1326 hours, Officer O’Sullivan was dispatched 5101 Jessamine Street in reference to a theft of a motor vehicle. The investigation indicated the incident was a motor vehicle theft, the vehicle has been recovered and the investigation is ongoing.

September 2019

9/11/2019 – 45xx PINE STREET – On 09/11/2019 at 0715 hours, Officer Andrade was dispatched to the above location in reference to an auto theft. Upon arrival, Officer Andrade met with the victim who stated between 09/10/2019 at approximately 1845 hours and 09/11/2019 at approximately 0700 hours, an unknown suspect entered his unsecure vehicle and drove away in it. The vehicle was entered as stolen in the NCIC/TCIC database.

9/12/2019 – 5420 WEST LOOP SOUTH – On 09/12/2019 at 1346 hours, Officer Andrade was dispatched to the above location in reference to an auto theft. Upon arrival, Officer Andrade made contact with the victim who stated she parked her vehicle on the second floor of the parking garage and secured her vehicle. When she returned it was gone. Officer Andrade located camera surveillance video and after viewing the video, it was confirmed the vehicle was stolen.

8/07/2019 – 52xx WOODLAWN PLACE – On 08/07/2019 at 1945 hours, Officer Trujillo was dispatched to the above location in reference to a theft of a motor vehicle. Upon arrival he spoke to the victim who stated sometime on today’s date an unknown person(s) took his vehicle without his permission.

July 2019

7/01/19 – 5800 BISSONNET – On July 1, 2019 at 1402 hours, Bellaire Police received a 911 call regarding two suspicious vehicles that had possibly been involved in an accident. Officers located the suspicious vehicles and after further investigation two male suspects were arrested on criminal charges. Officers Jenkins, Schwausch, Clisham, Trujillo, Baylis, Bailey, and Santillanes assisted with this case.

7/07/19 – 5200 BRAEBURN DRIVE – On July 7, 2019 at approximately 1233 hours, Officer Lysack was on patrol when he observed a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 bearing an Authorized Agent temporary tag. Officer Lysack conducted an NCIC/TCIC query of the plate and received a stolen alert. Officer Lysack waited for backup units, Officers Liccketto and Quimby, and the suspect was taken into custody. Houston Police Department Officers arrived on scene and recovered the stolen vehicle. The suspect was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and a pre-existing warrant for theft out of Harris County.

7/07/19 – 5200 WEST LOOP N – On 07/07/2019 at 1317 hours, Officer Liccketto was dispatched to the 5200 block of the IH 610 in reference to a five car vehicle accident. The occupants that caused the accident fled the scene. Officer Liccketto found the occupants of the vehicle in the 6000 block of Avenue B. The vehicle which caused the accident was found to be stolen out of Louisiana. The driver was also found to be in possession of a firearm during the course of committing a felony. The driver was arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, fail to stop and render aid, and unlawful carry of a weapon. Corporal Kramer and Officer Quimby assisted with the case.

7/09/19 – 6565 WEST LOOP SOUTH – On 07/09/2019 at 1529 hours, Officer D. Norman made contact with the reportee at the above location who advised his company vehicle was stolen from the parking garage. Sometime between the hours of 1200 and 1403 and unknown suspect popped the lock and stole the vehicle. The vehicle was found (stripped) in Houston on 07/14/2019.

7/25/19 – 45xx ELM STREET- ATTEMPTED AUTO THEFT – On 07/25/2019 at 1518 hours, Officer Bailey was dispatched to the above location in reference to an attempted auto theft. Upon Officer Bailey’s arrival at at 1520 hours, he spoke with reportee who stated an unknown suspect made entry into his unsecured pickup. The suspect observed a juvenile in the rear seat of the truck and fled the area.

4/7/2019 – 4700 BELLAIRE – On 4/7/19, Officer Marcotte was dispatched to a single motor vehicle accident at the location. The caller indicated she had observed a male running away from the crash scene. Officer Marcotte determined the crashed vehicle had been stolen from a nearby Houston dealership and the suspect was apprehended less than a mile away from the scene. It was discovered the suspect had just ran away from the Chimney Rock juvenile center and according to the dealership surveillance video, he and another suspect had stolen 2 vehicles. The second suspect was apprehended while driving the second vehicle at a nearby fast food restaurant. During the investigation, it was also revealed the first suspect had entered an unlocked vehicle on S Third St looking for valuables. Both suspects were charged with theft of a motor vehicle and the first suspect was additionally charged with burglary of a motor vehicle.

4/10/2019 – 5xx CHELSEA STREET On Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at 0807 hours, Officers Quimby and Bailey were dispatched to above location in reference to an auto theft. Officers Quimby and Bailey arrived on location at 0807 hours and met with the victims who stated on 04/10/10 at approximately 0145 hours unknown suspects stole their gold 2010 Chevy Tahoe without their consent.

2/21/2019 – 6700 IH610 WEST SERVICE ROAD – On Thursday, February 21, 2019 at approximately 0910 hours, Officer D. Rocha (badge #324) initiated a traffic stop on a gray colored Toyota Tundra pickup for expired registration. The driver was identified by her Texas identification card. The Texas license plate which was displayed on the truck was checked by Bellaire dispatch database and found to be a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was seized and the driver subsequently arrested and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Officers T. Quimby (badge #305), C. Licketto (badge #318), H. Lopez (badge #332) and J. Jenkins (badge #316) assisted on this scene.

 


January 2018

1/8/2018 – 46xx BRAEBURN DRIVE On 01/08/2018 at 1050 hours, Officer Vorhees was dispatched to 46xx Braeburn Drive in reference to a stolen vehicle. The victim stated he last saw his vehicle parked on the street in front of his residence, on 01/07/2018 at 2300 hours. On 01/08/2018 the victim stated when he came outside of his residence this morning the vehicle was gone.

February

2/4/2018 – 5000 BELLAIRE – On 02/04/2018, Officer Marcotte initiated a traffic stop on a 1999 Ford pickup for a broken tail light. It was learned the pickup had been stolen in a robbery earlier in the day. Both the occupants matched the description of the suspects whom had committed the robbery. Both were arrested and charged with robbery.

2/11/2018 – 54xx HOLLY – On February 11, 2018 at about 0932 hours (hrs), Officer C. Barber, a duly sworn Peace Officer with the Bellaire Police Department, was dispatched to the residence at 54xx Holly St regarding a theft of a motor vehicle and the burglary of two motor vehicles. The suspects rummaged through two unsecured vehicles and discovered the key fob for the stolen vehicle inside one of burglarized cars and used it to steal the third vehicle.

2/16/2018 – 6750 WEST LOOP SOUTH – On 02/16/2018 at 1549 hours, Officer Younger made contact with the victim who advised her vehicle had been stolen out of the parking garage without her knowledge. The victim advised her vehicle had already been recovered by Houston Police Officers and she needed a report for the theft.

3/17/2018 – 4439 BISSONNET STREET – On 03/17/2018 at 1938 hours, Officer Schwausch was dispatched to the Valero Gas Station at 4439 Bissonnet Street in reference to a female who appeared to be intoxicated and about to take off in a car. Officer Schwausch arrived and made contact with the female, who after further investigation was not authorized by the registered owner to use the motor vehicle. The female was subsequently charged and transported to the Bellaire Jail for processing.

June

6/11/2018 – 47xx LAUREL On June 11, 2018 at about 0922 hours (hrs), Officer C. Barber with the Bellaire Police Department was dispatched to the above address regarding the theft of an automobile. The vehicle was parked in the victim’s driveway and was taken between the hours of June 10, 2018 around 2330 hrs and June 11, 2018 around 0800 hrs.

6/13/2018 – 46xx VERONE STREET On 06/13/2018 at 1016 hours, Officer Andrade was dispatched to the City of Bellaire Police Department lobby to meet with a reportee in reference to an auto theft. Officer Andrade met with the reportee who stated on 06/12/2018 between the hours of 1000 hours and 1700 hours, an unknown suspect stole his black 2016 dump trailer from the driveway.

6/13/2018 – 5410 BELLAIRE BLVD On 05/13/2018 at 1252 hours, Officer Vorhees was dispatched to the above location in reference to an auto theft report. Officer Vorhees arrived at approximately 1306 hours, and met with the reportee. The reportee stated the suspect entered into a contract to lease a vehicle and never returned the vehicle as per the contract.

7/7/2018 – 50xx Tamarisk Lane –  On 07/07/2018 at 1853 hours, Officer Schwausch was dispatched to 50xx Tamarisk Lane in reference to a stolen vehicle. Further investigation found the vehicle was stolen between the hours of 2030 hours on 07/06/2018 and 0800 on 07/07/2018 by an unknown suspect.

October

10/2/2018 – 4747 BELLAIRE BOULEVARD – On October 2, 2018 at 1653 hours, Officer Lysack was dispatched to the above location in reference to an automobile theft. Officer Lysack met with the victim who stated he last saw his vehicle in his reserved parking spot in the parking garage on October 2, 2018 at approximately 0900 hours. The victim returned to the parking garage at approximately 1644 hours to discover the vehicle was stolen. The vehicle was entered into NCIC/TCIC as stolen.
