Details
The 9th annual MusicFest at the Willow Waterhole Greenway is back — a free, one-day festival* featuring live music and great food — on Saturday, April 9, beginning at 11 a.m.
There will be an exciting line-up of professional musicians playing a wide range of styles, including R&B, blues, Texas country, jazz, hip hop, classic rock, Cuban percussion, and Latin salsa. Several area school bands will also show off their talented musicians.
Four of Houston’s finest food trucks — two back by popular demand and two new crowd pleasers—will be onsite, along with a pushcart of frozen desserts that will circle the gazebo and music stage. A diverse range of community nonprofit organizations will be available to inform and educate the public. Willow Waterhole Greenway is a top-ranked destination for bluebonnets, the State Flower of Texas. Early April is seen as the perfect time to welcome the flower’s arrival, so plan on pet and family selfies among a field of blue blooms. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and plan to stay the day.
Everyone will find something to enjoy in the naturally beautiful greenspace.
