REPORTS AND PRESENTATIONS

An overview of the 2019 City of Bellaire Pavement Management Program was presented by Public Works Director Michael Leech.

REGULAR SESSION ACTION ITEMS

Approved appointments to the following Boards and Commissions: Board of Adjustment, Building and Standards Commission, Culture and Arts Board, Environmental Sustainability Board, Evelyn’s Park Conservancy Board, L.I.F.E. Advisory Board, Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, and Planning and Zoning Commission. All positions were filled with the exception of one vacancy on the L.I.F.E Advisory Board.

Assistant City Manager Paula Ryan presented the draft City Council Five Year Priorities Plan for Council’sconsideration. The document was drafted following two City Council Special Session Workshop Meetings held on May 2 and May 9, 2019. The City Council Priorities Plan draft document was discussed, amendments were offered, and the revised Five Year Priorities Plan was adopted unanimously.

Approved a request to proceed with the execution of an interlocal agreement in an amount not to exceed $221,750.00 with Harris County and the Texas Department of Transportation for the development of a Master Drainage Concept Plan.
