Spread Oaks Ranch, a pristine remote and historic guest ranch, and Brennan’s of Houston, the Bayou City’s preeminent fine-dining Creole house since 1967, are joining forces to host an exclusive Culinary Getaway Weekend Friday, October 6 – Sunday, October 8, with all-inclusive luxury accommodations, exceptional chef-prepared gastronomic cuisine, wine and whiskey tastings, and world-class amenities at Spread Oaks Ranch, located 90 minutes from Houston.

Guests will be treated to a weekend filled with genuine Southern hospitality and culinary delights by Chef Carl Walker of Brennan’s of Houston and Chef Ric Rosser of Spread Oaks Ranch.

The getaway weekend will kick off Friday evening with a cocktail hour, charcuterie and cheese board on the big patio, followed by a three-course wine dinner featuring Brennan’s signature dishes and Spread Oaks Ranch’s field-and-farm-to-table creations. On Saturday, guests will wake up to enjoy breakfast created by Brennan’s before heading to their selected activities.

Under large, looming oak trees, guests will experience a light lunch of Texas ranch, Southern and Creole cuisine with wine pairings, followed by a whiskey tasting and “Ranch Showcase” dinner featuring a whole hog roast with locally sourced accompaniments prepared by Chef Ric. Before departing on Sunday, the culinary getaway will conclude with a breakfast feast, Spread Oaks style, and a build-your-own mimosa and Bloody Mary bar.
