From the City of Bellaire:
Held a public hearing on amendments to the Comprehensive Plan regarding the Urban village-downtown district.
Department directors presented updates on Strategic Plan projects for the third quarter of FY2025.
Ardurra Group, Inc., provided an update on the Regional Drainage Improvement Program.
Bellaire City Council approved the following measures:
- An ordinance allowing dogs in Russ Pitman Park on October 26, 2025, during the Nature Discovery Center Pumpkin Patch event for a dog costume contest.
- An ordinance authorizing an agreement with ACT Pipe & Supply not exceeding $60,000.00 to purchase water and wastewater supplies, including pipes and pipe fittings.
- An ordinance authorizing an agreement with Core & Main LP not exceeding $60,000.00 to purchase water and wastewater supplies, including pipes and pipe fittings.
Please note: Two contracts were awarded for these services to ensure that emergency repairs can be made effectively and efficiently.
- An ordinance authorizing an agreement with Tyler Technologies, Inc., for $107,218.00 to provide software as a service for the City of Bellaire, Texas Enterprise Resource Planning software.
- An ordinance authorizing an agreement with HR&A Advisors for $100,000.00 for economic development consulting services.
- An ordinance authorizing an agreement with Musco Sports Lighting, LLC, for $146,960.00 for the installation/replacement of tennis court lighting at Mulberry Park.
