Kerry Pauly made this announcement on his Facebook page.
This is a hard one.
Over the last several years, Bellaire became so much more than a restaurant to me. It became a community filled with familiar faces, friendships, celebrations, late nights, and memories I’ll carry forever.
One thing people have said to me more and more over time is: “We miss seeing you.” And the truth is — they were right. The reason I opened KP’s Kitchen was never to build a big restaurant group. It was to connect with people, be part of the community, and create a place that felt personal.
Trying to operate two restaurants pulled me away from the part of hospitality I love most. I can’t be in two places at once. After a lot of thought, I’ve made the decision to focus my full energy on our original Spring Valley location moving forward.
To every guest, employee, regular, friend, and supporter of Bellaire — thank you. Truly. You helped build something special.
This is not goodbye to KP’s Kitchen. It’s a return to the heart of why I started it in the first place. I hope you’ll continue the journey with me at Spring Valley.
And before we turn the page… come raise a glass with us this week. Come see me tonight.
