The City of Bellaire’s Flood Hazard Mitigation Task Force (FHMTF) invites residents, local businesses, and community partners to attend a public Open House on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at 6:00 PM at Bellaire City Hall.
The Open House will provide updates on current and planned flood mitigation projects, initiatives, and ongoing efforts to reduce flood risk throughout the community.
In addition to sharing information, the FHMTF is seeking opportunities for meaningful community involvement. Attendees are encouraged to bring ideas for community‑led initiatives that could help Bellaire strengthen preparedness, improve information sharing, and build long‑term resilience.
Bring your ideas! The Task Force hopes to identify several community-led concepts during the Open House that can be developed in partnership with residents over the coming months.
