The Bellaire Garden Club is pleased to announce that Dr. Lisa Balabanlilar, Associate Professor of History at Rice University, will present her illustrated talk “World Pleasure Gardens” at this Thursday’s (May 2) meeting of the Bellaire Garden Club at 7pm at the Nature Discovery Center.
Dr. Balabanlilar teaches South and Central Asian History at Rice and has published a book “Imperial Identity in the Moghul Empire” in addition to her scholarly articles.
