Starting August 8, they will collect vegetation and construction debris (fencing) in sections 1A, 1B, 1C, 2B, and 4D. 

Bellaire City Council will select nine members to serve a one-year term to meet monthly from September to June.

August 6, they will begin the final pass for vegetation and the first pass for construction/debris material (fencing).

The plan for August 2 is to begin the day in Sections 1C, 1D, 2B, 2C, 4C, and 4B. Then, they plan to move into Sections 1E and 4A.

Due to the high volume of material, it is estimated that debris collection will be completed within the next three to four weeks.

The Bellaire storm debris collection map has been updated to reflect sub-sections of the City.

The competition pool and dive well will remain closed until further notice.

Debris will continue to be collected by a third party.

CenterPoint Energy reports that three utility companies are restoring power in Bellaire.

Trash pick up will be just one day a week, and there will be no bag limit. Recycling will be temporarily suspended.

CenterPoint Energy is currently sweeping all circuits in Bellaire and have made significant progress.

If you need to cool off or charge electronics, the Bellaire Police Station lobby is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. 

Public Works has fallen behind on regular trash collection schedule due to the amount of storm debris.  

The City will have a 3rd party debris removal contract for storm recovery, and they will begin early next week.

Monday’s trash and limbs/brush and Tuesday’s regular trash, limbs/brush, and recycling will be picked up July 9.

There will be no solid waste collection.
