We regret to inform you that due to the severe weather forecast, we have canceled the Holiday in the Park event scheduled for Thursday. We understand this is disappointing news, but our top priority is the safety of our participants and staff.
Don’t worry! We have a fun Snow Day planned for you on December 30 at 9 am in Bellaire Town Square! We’ll keep you posted on the details.
The City of Bellaire will welcome the holiday season on Thursday, November 30, from 6:00-8:30 pm at Holiday in the Park!
Bellaire Town Square (7008 South Rice Avenue, behind City Hall) will be converted into a winter wonderland for a night full of fun festivities! Sources from the North Pole say that Santa will make his official appearance and patiently listen to holiday wishes from children at the gazebo. He will also bring with him a variety of free activities, including the official holiday tree lighting, holiday music from local schools and the Bellaire High School Mighty Cardinal Band, pony rides, a petting zoo, holiday crafts, and more! Snowfall is predicted in the park, complete with two snow slides for all to enjoy! Various foods will be available for purchase from local restaurants and civic groups.
