In recognition of the Memorial Day Holiday, all City Offices will be closed and there will be no Solid Waste service or limbs/brush collection on Monday, May 31, 2021. The Library will also be closed on Saturday, May 29, 2021. Please note the following changes to the Solid Waste pickup schedule:
- Sections A, B, and E Garbage: Collection resumes on Thursday, June 3, 2021

All City offices and the West University Place Recreation Center will be closed for Memorial Day on Monday, May 31. Offices will reopen on Tuesday, June 1, 2021.
May 31st – No curbside trash, recycling and yard waste collection on Monday. Recycling and yard waste normally scheduled for Monday will be collected on Wednesday, June 2. Please hold your trash until your next regularly scheduled collection day (Thursday, June 3).
Colonial Park Pool will be open Memorial Day Weekend. For more information visit, westutx.gov/colonial.
