The City of Bellaire’s Winter Basketball League is designed to provide participants with a fun-filled, skill-oriented, and safe basketball experience.

REGISTRATION DATES (Online & In-Person)
The age cutoff calculation date is the universal date used by local school districts. The child’s age as of September 1 of the current academic school year will determine eligibility or placement in the league.
- Bellaire Residents: September 8, 2026
- Non-Residents: September 15, 2026
Registration for winter basketball can be online or in person. Please note that we only accept credit card payments for all in-person registrations at the Recreation Center.

IMPORTANT PROGRAM DATES
- Player Evaluations (Required for ages 7-12): October 27, 28, and 31
- Players only need to attend one of the listed evaluation dates. Please refer to the Winter Basketball Information Sheet for a complete schedule of evaluation times by age group.
- Practices Begin: Week of November 30, 2026
- Games Begin: December 12, 2026
- Season Ends: February 7, 2026
