Update From the City of Bellaire, September 13, 2023:
The Bellaire Pound has re-opened after recently undergoing some improvements, including upgraded safety walls, shade, painting, and general maintenance. We are excited to have these upgrades available for our furry friends.

We are excited to announce that improvements are being made to the pound! Unfortunately, the pound is closed starting today (September 1), and we will have limited resources to house dogs during maintenance.
If you find a dog in need during this time, we encourage you to contact a local rescue or shelter or call Bellaire PD for guidance at 713-668-0487.
