From the City of Bellaire:

The City of Bellaire is taking proactive measures to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), including limiting in-person interactions for city business.  Mayor Andrew S. Friedberg signed a Declaration of Local State of Disaster due to Public Health Emergency on March 20, 2020. A copy of the Declaration can be found on the City’s website at https://bellairetx.gov/DisasterDeclaration_COVID19.

These measures are being taken to protect the public health, slow the progression of this virus and protect our service providers.

Effective March 23, 2020, the following will occur:

• All city buildings will be closed to the public.

• All city-sponsored events are canceled until further notice.

• All public city meetings will be conducted by teleconference or canceled.

The City of Bellaire will continue to provide city services.  Fire, police, EMS and public works services are still available at all times.  We are actively encouraging city business to be handled online or via phone where possible. Please leave a voicemail if your call is not answered. Someone will get back to you.  Dial 911 for emergencies.

Please check the City website at www.bellairetx.gov for daily updates related to COVID-19 and City services.
