The City of West University Place is pleased to announce the selection of Mr. David Beach as its next City Manager. Mr. Beach’s contract was approved during the regular City Council Meeting on Monday, January 14, 2019, effective January 22, 2019.

Mr. Beach is the City’s Assistant City Manager and Director of Public Works. He has been employed by the City for over 13 years and is an accomplished public administrator with over 20 years of municipal experience. His extensive public service background includes project management and contract administration; capital project development; financial and strategic planning and implementation; and asset leverage. Mr. Beach is a skilled professional adept in team building and working with regional, state and local officials as well as contractors and the community.

As the City Manager, Mr. Beach will provide centralized direction and leadership for the effective and fiscally responsible administration and operations of all municipal services for the City of West University Place.

Dave is a graduate of Washington State University with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Degree in Political Science and Government and holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Arizona State University.
